A Call for Expression of Interest
The SADC Secretariat is the principal executive institution of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). The SADC vision is one of a common future, a future within a regional community that will ensure economic well-being,improvement of the standards of living and quality of life, freedom and social justice and peace and security for the peoples of Southern Africa. The Community has over 300 million people.
As part of its continuous improvement drive, the Secretariat intends to carry out a comprehensive job evaluation from November 2006 to January 2007.
The Secretariat invites eligible consultants in the SADC region to indicate their interest in undertaking the job evaluation.
To be pre-qualified, interested consultants must supply verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following:
1- Profile of the firm or consortium including ownership structure and management team;
2- Certificates of registration or incorporation with relevant national authorities of SADC Member States;
3- Record of qualification and experience of key staff that would carry out the assignment including the team leader. The key staff would have minimum experience of 5 years working on similar assignments.
4- List of similar assignments or projects undertaken by the firm or members of the consortium.
Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications and be in good standing in matters of tax and other regulatory matters in the county in which they are registered or incorporated.
The pre-qualification will be in accordance with SADC Tender Rules and Procedures.
Expression of Interest must be delivered in 4 hard copies in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Job Evaluation and delivered to the address below by 4:30pm on 12thOctober 2006
